The percentage of hikers who prepare themselves before through hiking the ATand complete their through hike is monumentally higher than those who don’t prepare themselves. Preparation for through hike drastically increases your chances of completing.

If you took the two groups, those who prepare and those who don’t prepare.— what percentage of non-prepares completed the through hike versus what percentage of those who prepared completed the AT? Luke better not be surprised by the answer.

Remember your sample size is Young fit better than average hikers. It is Not a myth to prepare for 80% of population
