America, we gotta get back to doing what's expected of us as free citizens in this democracy. That means being tolerant, being respectful, staying informed, and being engaged. I'm former Congressman Joe Walsh. Follow me here and join the millions of Americans who are renewing their social contract with each other. The social contract. It's on us.

  • Your Daily Reminder: Trump Thinks His Supporters Are Idiots
    Jul 22 2025
Every day since this Epstein story broke, Trump has thrown out hundred of red meat distractions. To distract and deceive his supporters. Because he thinks his supporters are idiots. Well I don’t think his supporters are idiots. So I’ll keep reminding them regularly what their dear leader thinks of them.

  • Trump’s America is not my America. Is it yours?
    Jul 21 2025
An 82-year-old man in Pennsylvania was secretly deported to Guatemala, a country he had no connection to, after visiting an immigration office last month to replace his lost green card. The family had not heard from him and were initially told he was dead, until he turned up at a hospital in Guatemala.

  • Fat Ankles, A Confused Base, And A Still Lost Opposition
    Jul 18 2025
I sat down with Democratic strategist Mike Nellis - and we covered it all, Trump’s health, all things Epstein, a MAGA base increasingly angry and confused, and a Democratic Party, still trying to figure out how to be a strong, effective opposition. We also talked about our favorite Chicago spots. Check it out.

Joe is a good listen, he tries to see both sides, while still passionately holding onto his beliefs.
He’s real, respectful, but has no issue calling out the bull$hit. He’s also is someone who has no fear, in other words, not afraid to call it as he sees it. He’ll weigh the pro’s and con’s. And he’s changed his views and admits when he’s made mistakes. Joe is a refreshing ex politician and a good listen.

Passionate, powerful, honest and open to other opinions

it's refreshing to listen to a political podcast without having to listen to someone bang on about one side or the other in an openly hostile fashion. We definitely need less hostility and more listening (and hearing) in our political dialogue. Joe has been putting on these style podcasts since he realized that our democracy is in trouble and this new show is just what we need. I don't agree with everything he says but if he's willing to let everyone have their say, I am too. Compromise is a dirty word these days, but it's the only option in a democracy.

Same Joe, new podcast, and worthy of a listen.

This is the political show that we need to be listening to. In this age of "I only wanna hear you if you agree with what I say", This show is a MUST LISTEN!.
