Acerca de esta escucha
In this episode of Camp Nowhere MAK tracks down the origins of a recipe that has long been in her family. The recipe for Kalua Pork is steeped in lore and has feed more people than just about any recipe in MAK’s family cookbook. After seeing how a recipe she grew up enjoying has evolved over the years, MAK starts at the present day version of the Kalua Pork recipe and follows it back in time and talks with each of the people’s hands the recipe has passed through, from friends to family members. This episode is a fascinating tale of how food brings people together and inadvertently becomes a record of all those who you have shared a meal with.
