  • 135: #135 Balancing Supporting Others with Needing Support Yourself
    Jun 12 2025
This week, I’m speaking directly to the women who always seem to have it together — the ones who are calm, capable, and endlessly supportive. You're the go-to for your friends, your family, your clients. You’re the one who says, “My DMs are always open,” and people take you up on that. But when you need support… where do you go?

Being the strong one is exhausting. It's not that people don't care about you — it's that you're just so good at caring for everyone else. And while that’s beautiful, it can also be lonely. I know this because I’ve been that person for years. And even though it might feel like you have to keep up the image of being bulletproof, the truth is you don’t.

In this conversation, I’m opening up about how masking strength all the time took a toll on me — and how softening, being honest, and setting boundaries changed everything. I’m sharing why empathy in business is powerful, how you can still be an incredible support without burning out, and what it means to be the rock without turning to stone.

If you've ever wished there was a “you” for you — someone who just gets it and holds space without needing anything back — then you're in the right place. You are not alone, and you don’t have to carry everything by yourself.

✨ Being the strong one is admirable. But you’re allowed to be soft, too. You’re allowed to need support. And you’re allowed to build your business in a way that honours your energy.

  • 134: #134 Can You Really Run a Business Without Social Media
    Jun 5 2025
Ever wondered if your business would crumble if you stopped showing up daily on Instagram, Facebook, or LinkedIn? In this episode of Unstuck, I’m sharing the honest truth about what’s happened since I made the decision to step back from social media — and why it’s been one of the most refreshing, grounding shifts I’ve made in years.

After more than a decade of daily posting, I quietly stopped. No dramatic flounce. Just… stopped. And spoiler alert: my business didn’t collapse. Instead, I’ve felt calmer, clearer, and more connected than I have in ages. I’ll take you behind the scenes of how I reassessed my time, what visibility now looks like for me, and the surprising impact it’s had on my mindset, energy, and income. We’ll also talk about why social media isn’t evil (I still love it), how to use it more intentionally, and what genuinely works better for me — like this podcast, email marketing, and meaningful conversations.

✨ You don’t have to be everywhere to be visible. Choose presence over pressure and let your strategy support your sanity.

  • 133: #133 Why You Don't Need a 90-Day Plan to Make Progress
    May 29 2025
Welcome to Unstuck formerly Life In Business!

We’ve all heard it: make a 90-day plan, set quarterly targets, forecast your growth. But for many solo business owners — especially those who are neurodivergent or juggling midlife chaos — rigid long-term planning can do more harm than good. It can feel overwhelming, demotivating, and like you’re setting yourself up to fail before you’ve even started.

In this episode of Unstuck, I’m flipping the script. I’ll walk you through why traditional planning doesn’t always serve us and what to focus on instead — clarity, consistency, and momentum. You’ll learn why setting goals based on how you want to feel might move the needle more than any spreadsheet ever could, and why small wins and aligned energy are the real secret sauce in business growth.

✨ Progress isn’t always about being productive — it’s about rolling forward in a way that actually works for you.

  • 132: #132 The Real Reason You're Not Showing Up (and What to Do About It)
    May 22 2025
Showing up in your business can feel like a monumental task. Not because you’re lazy or unmotivated, but because it can feel deeply vulnerable to put yourself out there. Whether it’s hitting ‘publish’ on that post, sending an email, or recording a video, it’s normal to feel that tightness in your chest and wonder, “Who even cares?”

In this episode, I’m breaking down what it really means to show up — beyond just dancing on reels or shouting the loudest. I’ll share why visibility doesn’t have to be overwhelming, how to find the right platform that suits your energy, and how to build a sustainable presence that actually feels good. We’ll also dive into why avoiding visibility often comes from fear (not laziness) and how to work with that fear rather than fight it.

✨ Showing up isn’t about being everywhere — it’s about being somewhere with purpose.

Welcome to Unstuck formerly Life In Business!

You’ve been told to map it all out. Set the goals. Forecast the income. Create your 90-day plan. But what if all that planning is actually making you feel more stuck, more overwhelmed, and more likely to give up before you’ve even started?

In this episode, I’m flipping the script on rigid business planning and sharing a gentler, more effective approach — especially if you're neurodivergent, managing life alongside business, or simply craving more ease. We’ll talk about why momentum matters more than productivity, what to focus on instead of goals plucked from Instagram, and how to create a flexible plan that meets you exactly where you are.

  • 130: #130 How to Simplify Your Offers so They Actually Sell
    May 8 2025
Welcome to Unstuck formerly Life In Business!

If our offers are confusing us, they are definitely confusing my audience. And confused people do not buy. Today, we’re talking about how to simplify your offers so they actually sell. Because, let’s be honest, this is the whole point of being in business, right? It’s not just for the sake of it; we're here because we want to support people, but we also want to make money. There’s nothing wrong with that.

I think the real reason we complicate offers comes down to fear. A lot of it is fear. A lot of it is imposter syndrome. A lot of it is trying to please everyone. And when we try to please everyone, we end up pleasing no one, because how can 10 different problems be solved by one product or service? Sure, there are nuances to every problem we solve, but if they’re completely different things, it gets messy.

Simplifying our offers means more clarity, more focus, and better sales

  • 129: #129 Why You're Not Broken (You're Just Ready for Something to Change)
    May 1 2025
Feeling flat, foggy, or like your business should be further along by now? You’re not broken — you’re just stuck. And that’s okay.

In this episode, I’m gently calling out the myth that something has to be wrong with you to want change. Spoiler alert: nothing’s wrong with you. You’ve just reached a point where the way you’re doing things doesn’t feel good anymore — and that’s your sign to pause, reflect, and gently shift direction.

We’ll talk about how to spot the (surprisingly sneaky) signs that you’re stuck, why throwing more “solutions” at the problem won’t help, and how a series of 1% tweaks can get you back into momentum — no burnout required. Plus, I’m sharing what’s behind my own rebrand and how I’m navigating change in real-time.

If you’re craving more clarity, calm, and connection in your business — this one’s for you.

✨ You don’t need fixing. You just need a new way forward (on your own terms).

  • 128: #128 What To Do If You're Feeling Stuck As A Solo Business Owner
    Apr 24 2025
Feeling stuck in your business, but not sure how to get out of the fog? You’re not broken, you’re just tired of trying to do everything alone.

In this episode, I’m talking about what being stuck really looks and feels like as a solo business owner, and how you can gently start untangling your way back to clarity.

This is actually the final episode of Life in Business… but don’t worry - it’s just a name change. From next week, this podcast becomes Unstuck, and this conversation is the perfect bridge between the two. I’m reflecting on my own journey of feeling overwhelmed, second-guessing myself, and questioning what success even means. Just because you’re capable doesn’t mean you should do it all alone, and I know from experience how easy it is to keep pushing forward but still feel like you’re getting nowhere.

If you’ve been feeling drained, indecisive, or like you should be further ahead by now - this one’s for you. I want to meet you where you are and offer the truth, permission, and practical support you actually need.

You don’t have to hustle your way out of stuckness. You just need space, support, and the right kind of nudge.
