In this episode of Unexplained America, your host Lisa will discuss the Night Stalker, serial killer Richard Ramirez.

This is Part 3--the final episode to Richard Ramirez-- in this episode I will be picking up on August 31, 1985, when Richard was arrested.

I will be discussing in depth his court case, all through the 4 years of it. We will then work through the after math of his court case into his jail accommodations, his wedding in 1996, his final appeal information and more heinous crime tied to him in 2006 and 2009 to his death in 2013.

I will end the episode mentioning all the known victims, possible victims and some victims that were just not part of his trial for various legal reasons.

June 28, 1984, Richard Ramirez whom had been burglarizing LA County for years, went on the hunt for more than just a burglary. He found the apartment of Jennie Vincow, a 79 year old retired woman from New York, and brutally murdered her in her own bed.

Eight months later he would follow up with a double homicide in 1 night.

In this episode of Unexplained America, your host Lisa will discuss the Cleveland Torso Murders--also known as, the Mad Butcher of Kingsbury Run and also was called the Kingsbury Slayer and other things in the press.

The killings begin in Cleveland, Ohio in 1935 (1934 depending in victim inclusion of the "Lady in the Lake")--a body is found without a head in a dark, dank area of Cleveland called Kingsbury Run.

Over the course, of a few months more mutilated and dismembered bodies are found. No witnesses, no suspects, just body parts.

Between 1935 and 1938, 12 victims will be found and only 3 of these victims will be identified.

Cleveland's new City Safety Director, Eliot Ness, will get involved but to no avail...no one will be tried for these heinous murders.

In this episode of Unexplained America, your host Lisa will discuss the most haunted place in America; the Myrtles Plantation of St. Francisville, Louisiana.

"General" David Bradford of Pennsylvania fled to the territory of Louisiana in 1794 after getting into some trouble with first President George Washington over the excise tax or slang the Whiskey Rebellion situation.

Once he landed in Louisiana, he purchased some land to settle for his family and built what he called Laurel Grove which was a modest eight room home.

In 1832, a man named Ruffin Gray Stirling purchases Laurel Grove and renovates a large addition to the home taking the eight rooms to twenty-two and renames the place the Myrtles Plantation.

What we'll discuss in this episode is all of the owner's, their history, the deaths, the lore, and my own personal overnight experience in 2007.

In this episode of Unexplained America, your host Lisa will discuss the sad and strangely mysterious death of Ellen Greenberg.

On January 26, 2011, Ellen Greenberg would be found dead in her apartment in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, that she shared with her fiance.

Ellen's death is at first ruled as a homicide by the Philadelphia Medical Examiner Dr. Marlon Osborne; however, the Philadelphia Police Department decide that lack of an intruder made the scene look like a suicide; even though Ellen sustained twenty stab wounds --many of which, were to the back of her neck and head area.

The Philadelphia ME would change the manner of death to suicide which would lead Ellen's parents on a 14 year legal battle with the state of Pennsylvania.
