Acerca de esta escucha
On May 4th, 2003, around 4am, the fire alarms went off in the Poland Hall dorm building at Western Kentucky University, in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The fire department arrived within 5 minutes and the fire was very contained - the sprinklers had put most of it out. The fire department captain entered room 214, and he saw something that stood out amidst the dark and blackened room. It was the unburned section on the arm of 18 year old Katie Autry. She was alive, but she was not doing well. Retired police sergeant, Kevin Picket, says that when he arrived, a firefighter said to him, “If you’re a praying person, now’s the time to pray.”
