Texas Flash Flood Tragedy Sparks Grief and Political Blame Game
At least 80 people are dead and 40 more are missing after catastrophic July 4th flooding in Texas Hill Country. Among the victims are 10 girls from a Christian summer camp and the camp’s heroic owner, Richard Eastland. Despite early and extensive weather warnings, some Democrats blame Trump’s NOAA budget cuts for the disaster. Bryan calls these claims factually wrong and morally reprehensible.

Trump’s Economy Faces Tariff Deadlines and Debt Market Concerns
“Liberation Day” tariffs are set to kick in this Wednesday unless trade deals are finalized. While countries like India and the EU ask for exemptions, agriculture remains a sticking point. Meanwhile, the Trump economy shows strength in jobs and wages, but rising debt levels have bond markets on edge. Economist advice: keep personal debt low.

Gaza Truce in the Works as Hamas Control Collapses
President Trump and Israeli PM Netanyahu are expected to finalize a ceasefire. A Hamas fighter admits the group has lost command, paychecks have stopped, and Israeli drones now dominate the skies. With clans taking over and Hamas in shambles, Bryan asks what a truce really means when there’s no one left to enforce it.

Iran Sends Saboteurs Through U.S. Border, Issues Death Warrants
Iran’s clerics issue fatwas calling for the assassinations of Trump and Netanyahu. U.S. intel warns that 35 Iranian operatives are being smuggled in via Mexican cartels. Customs and Border Protection confirms a terror alert is in effect, centered on southern California.

China’s Xi Might Be Ill or Facing a Coup
China’s foreign minister admits Beijing wants the Ukraine war to drag on, shocking European diplomats. At home, Xi Jinping is missing public events, sidelining generals, and delegating power. Analysts suspect serious illness or a power struggle is underway, as Xi’s diplomatic blunders pile up.

    Mexican Protesters Demand Americans Leave
Demonstrators in Mexico City call U.S. “digital nomads” an invasion, blaming them for high rents and cultural erosion. Signs read “Americans go home.” Mexico’s government defends foreigners, but the protests reflect deepening resentment.

UK Opera House Goes Dark When Wind Stops Blowing
A British opera house that relies solely on wind power suffers six blackouts during a performance, eventually canceling the show. The story underscores the limits of unreliable green energy, leading Bryan to suggest they rebrand as a House of Blues.

Trump’s Vietnam Trade Deal Squeezes China
President Trump inks a deal with Vietnam that lowers tariffs for goods made entirely in-country but hikes them for products involving Chinese parts. The strategy, already seen in UK trade talks, aims to boost U.S. exports while isolating China from global supply chains.

Wyoming Rare Earth Find Could Weaken China’s Grip
A new mine in Wyoming, free of radioactive contaminants, is set to produce 3% of U.S. rare earth needs. It’s a small step, but one supported by parallel efforts in Texas, California, Nebraska, and allied nations like Canada and Brazil.

USAID Shut Down and Folded Into State Department
The U.S. Agency for International Development is officially closed. 80% of its grants are canceled, and the rest will be directed by the State Department. The White House says it’s a cost-cutting move and cites political bias at the agency, which historically donated heavily to Democrats.

Following the lead of companies like General Mills and Heinz, Hershey will remove synthetic dyes from products by 2027, as part of a broader trend toward cleaner foods.

Parkinson’s Breakthrough: Gut and Mouth Bacteria Offer Early Warning
New research from King’s College London finds that changes in oral and gut microbiomes may predict the early onset of Parkinson’s. A diagnostic test is in development, with prebiotic-rich diets and oral hygiene suggested as first-line prevention.

Iran Acknowledges Major Damage from U.S. Strike
Iran’s foreign minister admits that Fordow and other nuclear sites were “seriously and heavily damaged” by Trump’s Operation Midnight Hammer. Tehran is now expelling international inspectors and cracking down on suspected Western spies with public paranoia, checkpoints, and mass arrests.

Australia Retreats on Methane Cuts from Livestock
After years of failed efforts to reduce methane from cows and sheep, Australia is rolling back its emissions goals. Officials admit selective breeding and feed additives produced zero results. Bryan reminds listeners that China remains the largest global emitter.

Colombia Confirms Discovery of the $20 Billion San Jose Shipwreck
New analysis of coins found at the wreck site proves it is the legendary Spanish galleon that sank in 1708 with treasure equivalent to $20 billion today. A legal battle looms over ownership, with claims from Spain, Colombia, U.S. firms, and Indigenous Bolivians.

I have listened to this podcast for a while now. Daily. But the amount of bias has finally gotten me to the point of unfollowing. I want the news, and I'm fine with it leaning what ever way to an extent. but the way he talks about gems as if they have nothing to offer and are useless is annoying. on top of that he does only seem to report things that fit his bias vs giving us a real idea on what the other side thinks. I had to stop trusting what he said after a while of just derogatory hate for dems. I lean right and really just would love someone who reports facts. he does do good at stating when he is saying his opinion most of the time, which is great and why I listened for so long, but he dosnt seem inclined to change his perspective based on new information and just doubles down blaming everything on dems in general instead of cutting responsibility on the person/people who did it.

he not a bad talker but pretty biased
