    In April 1959, 6-year-old Carol Ann Stephens vanished from a quiet residential street in Cathays, Cardiff, sparking one of the most haunting unsolved child abduction cases in UK history. Witnesses reported seeing little Carol get into a dark-coloured Morris Minor with an unknown man—but she never returned home.

    Two weeks later, her body was found 60 miles away in a remote culvert near Horeb, West Wales. The case shocked the nation and left a community forever changed. Despite a prime suspect—a commercial traveller named Ronald Edward Murray with links to both Cardiff and the exact location where Carol's body was discovered—no one was ever charged, and the case remains unsolved to this day.
