  • District 2 Sports w/ Glenvar Highlander Brody Dawyot
    Jul 4 2025

In this episode of District 2 Sports, we sit down with Glenvar High School’s record-breaking quarterback and recent Charlotte 49ers commit, Brody Dawyot.

Brody reflects on his explosive junior season—throwing for nearly 3,000 yards and 49 touchdowns, plus rushing for over 700 yards and 12 scores—and how that momentum led to him earning VHSL Class 2 Offensive Player of the Year honors. Standing at 6'5", 220 lbs, he talks about using his size, leadership, and dual-threat ability to push Glenvar to a state semifinal appearance.

We dive into his decision to commit to Charlotte, why the 49ers’ program felt like home, and his goal of seeing the field early at the next level. Brody shares what drives him, the culture at Glenvar, and how he’s preparing for one last ride in high school before stepping onto the FBS stage.

Don’t miss this conversation with one of Virginia’s most exciting talents.
