In this Season Finale Session, I had the privilege of interviewing another friend of mine. Shaqwane Yates. A fellow screenplay writer, director, and actor when he needs to be. He is also the founder & CEO of Yates House, his own independent film production company. Similar to me, Shaqwane has served on many sets functioning in different positions, such as PA.

We talked about black filmmaking, the art of storytelling, and how we can use our life and circumstances to shape and create a story. We discussed the duties of a production assistant, set life, And Lastly, the beauty of working with family and friends.

In this Semi Finale Session, I had the liberty and pleasure of interview a long time friend of mine named Chelsea Burrus, who runs a modeling agency boot camp, helping models step in to the industry and growing their image, brand and professionalism. We went over some of the basics of set/on shoot ettique, the misconceptions people think about modeling, TFP and what it is, how to branch out to bigger and brighter opportunities, as well as how to transition in to film.

In this session, I had the opportunity to interview Jose R. Casado, an award-winning writer, producer, director and editor who has been editing television for over 20 years. Jose is a Sundance Institute Fellow and semifinalist in the 2020 Academy Nicholls Fellowships in screenwriting. Lastly, his feature-length screenplay, Sodus Point was also featured at the Austin Film Festival.
