  • The Naked Truth - Pastor Mike Smith
    Jul 22 2025

Instead of shame and judgement, could Christianity be known for grace? Pastor Mike uses Mark 14 to show us how even the people closest to Jesus needed his grace when they neglected, betrayed and abandoned him. If you’re in need of a spiritual check-up, this message will show you how to follow Jesus (again or for the first time) by accepting the grace that’s always freely given to you.

And, you probably missed it, but this also the story of a streaker who ran right past Jesus in the garden...

  • You Heard God, but Did You Listen? - Pastor Kristin Mockler Young
    Jul 15 2025

Many of us want to hear from God. But what if the real issue isn’t hearing Him, it’s submitting to what he says? Your stubbornness to follow through is costing you something. It could be keeping you from hearing from God or experiencing the impossible miracles that only He can do in your life.

In week 4 of “You Probably Missed This,” Pastor Kristin uses the story of Balaam and the talking donkey in Numbers 22 to show us what the donkey saw but the prophet missed due to his narrow perspective. If you thought you heard God speak to you but something still isn’t working, this message will help you see the difference between passive spirituality and active obedience to God’s will. It will give you 3 steps to move from hearing God to listening to Him. ——————— Sunday Sermons is the recorded messages from Mosaic Church in Charlotte, NC. • There’s Life in You Yet - Pastor Kristin Mockler Young
    Jul 8 2025

Have you ever felt too tired to keep showing up? Too tired to care, too tired to bother, too tired to even pay attention anymore? If you feel like you’re running on empty just to survive, maybe your faith is, too. This week we look at the story of Eutychus in Acts 20 to see what happens when you don’t recognize the signs of fatigue and fall asleep in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Pastor Kristin uses Jesus’ words in Matthew 11 to teach 4 ways you can find rest for your soul instead of spinning your wheels in spiritual exhaustion. If you’re tired, worn out and burned out on religion…there is life in you yet. And a better way forward out of spiritual burnout.

  • Is this The End? - Pastor Naeem Fazal
    Jul 1 2025

With wars, disasters, and division all around, it’s easy to wonder if we’re living in the end times. But Jesus didn’t tell us to obsess over dates, He told us to stay ready. In Matthew 24, Jesus explains that the end isn’t something to fear. It’s a call to live with purpose.

In week 2 of “You Probably Missed This,” Pastor Naeem reminds us that fear makes us turn inward, but God calls us to look out - toward each other, toward the world, and toward hope. Because God hasn’t given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7).

This week, when the news and social media kick up your anxiety, instead of asking “Is this it?” maybe the better question is: What will I do with the time I have right now?

  • The Danger of Holding Back - Pastor Mike Smith
    Jun 24 2025

There are some weird stories in the Bible no one talks about. This summer at Mosaic, we’re covering the lesser-known, rarely taught and often misunderstood stories in scripture. And we’re starting with Ananias and Sapphira in Acts 5. This isn’t just a story about lying to God, it’s about what happens when we give with conditions, holding back the very thing God is trying to set free in us.

Pastor Mike challenges us to stop letting fear do the math. Because generosity isn’t just about ones and zeros, it’s about the heart behind the math. When we let our hearts lead our heads, it changes us from the inside out. This story may surprise you. It’ll certainly challenge you. It’s time to let your generosity speak louder than your logic.

  • Tomorrow Needs You - Pastor Naeem Fazal
    Jun 17 2025

Do you ever wonder if God has forgotten about you? The Israelites did. God freed them from oppression only to leave them stranded in the dessert. Then God told them he had a plan to give them hope and a future…in 70 years.

If you want to trust God more, but just don’t know if you can, this message is for you. Instead of rehearsing the past, reconcile it. Instead of disengaging from the present, engage in what’s in front of you. Instead of fearing the future, decide that it’s worth it and recreate.

Someone’s tomorrow needs you. Show up for it.

  • Today is Waiting - Pastor Naeem Fazal
    Jun 10 2025

Fear is a cautious companion but a terrible master. It’s time to take off the leash and take back control of your life.

In Week 2 of “Tomorrow Needs You," Pastor Naeem unpacks how the fear of failure, rejection, loss, betrayal, or abandonment can quietly leash our lives and keep us from accepting all that God has for us.

The good news is that love is stronger. God created you and called you good. Jesus believed in the beautiful humanity God created so much that he endured the cross for us. Using 1 John 4 and Hebrews 12, this message will show you that it’s only that perfect love which can cast out fear.

Today is waiting. What is the beautiful thing you’ve set before you? What present reality is God inviting you to fully step into?

    Let today off the leash.

  • Yesterday has Forgotten You | Tomorrow Needs You - Pastor Naeem Fazal
    Jun 3 2025

Your past isn’t holding on to you, so why are you still holding on to it? In Week 1 of “Tomorroww Needs You,” Pastor Naeem draws from the story of Jacob and Esau to show us how God doesn’t just want to forgive our past, He wants to reconcile it. Whether it’s pain you’ve caused or pain you’ve endured, it’s time to break up with what’s behind you.

Grab a popsicle stick or piece of paper to write down the person or situation that you keep looking back to. At the end of this message, you’ll be invited to break it, because healing begins when you receive God’s forgiveness, forgive yourself, or are finally able to release someone else.
