  • #285: The 42 Factors Affecting Blood Sugar - Part 1
    Jun 20 2025

Hey Diabuddy thank you for listening to show, send me some positive vibes with your favorite part of this episode.

You may have heard of Adam Brown’s popular article from Diatribe, “42 Factors That Affect Blood Glucose”—a game-changing guide for anyone living with diabetes. But how do those 42 factors actually show up in real life? And are there other variables we should be paying attention to?

In this episode, I dive into Adam Brown’s list and compare it to the 42 factors I’ve personally identified through years of living with Type 1 Diabetes and coaching others. We’ll explore the overlaps, the differences, and the surprising variables that often get overlooked. Whether you’re newly diagnosed or a seasoned pro, this episode will give you a fresh perspective on just how many things can influence blood sugar—and how you can stay ahead of them.
