In the series opener, the narrator shares a story found in a hidden attic notebook. In the town of Winder’s Hollow, everyone knows two rules: don’t go out when the fog rolls in, and never speak to it.
But when Marnie Keller’s little brother Ben disobeys, he begins acting strangely—and then disappears into the mist. Marnie follows his trail to a forgotten pit where the fog speaks and wants something in return: her voice.
