We know Aurea from the Mikeslessons.com family group and have met up a few time at gigs, clinics and the UK Drum Show.

Aurea talks about the Benny Greb Clinic we went to in Southampton held by Graham Russell Drums and Meinl in April 2025.She also tells us about the nerves and excitement of her pending trip to Camp with Mike Johnston in sunny Folsom, CA.

Ep:11 S2 We got to speak to Benny at his Clinic at The Drill in Lincoln on 14th April 2025

Jake Harris from Into Music invited us to do a quick podcast interview before the gig.

We interviewed Jake and Benny briefly in person and we also bumped into Ben Smith (@sixfootsticks_drums) a local drummer and customer / friend of Into Music moments before we witnessed the marvellous clinic by the “Grebmaster”

We also talk about how important it is to attend these events and support music / drum shops and the artists.

I have cut this in 2 parts but will drop them at the same time as the file was too big to upload the whole lot !!.

ZACK and his confession of a secret LOVE!

We have been away for a week or two but we are certainly BACK !

This week has a little minty twist as we managed to catch up with Zack one of his two UK Clinics in March 2025.

Paul from Dixon Drums and the lovely Andy Anderson from Drumshop UK in Washington Tyne&Wear (Newcastle to us southerners) put on an amazing evening in store on Tuesday night and Andy and I had to make the trip up North or further up North for Andy!

Episode 8 of Season 2, Throwing Your Toys Out Of Your Pram!

Matt & Andy have a slightly more serious chat about that time when you feel like it's time to quit the drums!

Andy had recently felt like The Drums were NOT for him and it sparked a conversation about some of the difficulties musicians face and the struggles of drumming.

The message here I guess, is that lots of people go through the same thing at some point.

He's not quitting just yet by the way.
