I believe Hunter holds a key to better understanding the depths of the strange topics we cover on this show. Hunter has dreams that he says are more real than the "waking world." During one of these dream experiences, he encountered a dogman that was targeting his family. When he stepped in-between them, the beast turned its attention to Hunter and started to rip him apart. When Hunter woke up, he was sitting up in his bed, but had scratches on his back and handprint bruises on his shoulder. One could say the dream was so vivid Hunter injured himself while sleeping, and Hunter would have been happy to believe the same thing. But he can no longer entertain that theory because one day, shortly after the dream, he was out in the woods with his son when the same dogman beast revealed itself to them and chased them through the forest. one of my favourite episodes. What Tony said about passing his kids rooms and praying for them, asking spirits to stay away from them. My dad used to do this when i was a kid as well. He has his third eye open and in our culture, we call it walking between 2 worlds so he can see entities and has clairvoyant dreams.

I found out about The Confessionals through Sasquatch Chronicles. I figured that if Wes Germer from SC said his show was good that I'd give it a try, well...now I'm a full blown Confessionals addict! As far as I'm concerned Tony Merkel is the best host out there and the Confessionals is the best paranormal podcast, period.

This guy is just full of crap. Very boring to listen. It all started good but then he got money hungry and started charging to listen to “better episodes” that are not even good anyways.
