When we lose a loved one, we are confronted with so much. Not only have we just lost a person who we have loved and cherished, who has been a support, life partner, friend. But now we are confronted with a lifetime of things. From the toothbrush that they placed in the bathroom to closets of clothes, cars, hobbies, the list goes on. All of this can be very overwhelming and place the grieving person further in their dark space. There is no right way to deal with the process of letting go as the only rule of grief is that there are no rules. The letting go of possessions will be as personal as the person’s own journey with grief. Join Mea Voce as she shares thoughts from her own journey of letting go and discusses the energetic implication of objects.
