Funny, not that long ago he accused those who did such a thing as clinging to the vestiges of the Jim Crow days. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent says of Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), “I would not ask an arsonist advice about how to put out a fire.”

Then, I spend some time on two inter-related subjects. I am trying to understand how a sub-set of our nation can be convinced to believe in Marxist/socialist ideas. I think it’s because we have all forgotten to take stock of the wealth we have thanks to Capitalism. We all need to learn how to explain it and defend it.

This leads to my closing about the US Constitution and how the signing of the Declaration of Independence was the start of a radical transformation on how people could and should be governed. With our 249th birthday on July 4, I think it made sense to give just a little reminder about what our Founding Fathers achieved and why we must all fight to keep this glorious Republic intact. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) released emails today showing how the FBI intentionally hid the investigation into Chinese interference in the 2020 election, meaning former FBI Director Christopher Wray might be in for some serious legal trouble.

For two months in a row, now, we have not had a single illegal released into the United States of America. At the same time, it looks like Paramount, owners of CBS News and 60 Minutes is going to settle with Trump over their edits of their interview with then VP Kamala Harris.

University of Pennsylvania is apologizing to female athletes and is scrubbing their records of the cheating, confused male, Lia Thomas. Secretary of Education Linda McMahon and Riley Gaines both comment on this huge win for women and girls in sports and in their private spaces.

The Democrats are raging still about how USAID has been mostly shut down. Former USAID Director Samantha Powers was on with CNN’s Anderson Cooper, dropping one misrepresentation after another. So, I decided to close with an analysis of the calculated moves by Trump to cripple the Left’s longstanding schemes of funneling money and using the sewer toward their own foul ends.

A television program in Lebanon has told the Iranian terrorist wing to get out of the country and return to Iran. The auto-pen saga continues and now we have Sen. Eric Schmitt (R-MO) asking for the White House Archivist to aid in releasing the paper trail surrounding it’s use.

While we may dislike a Communist Islamist winning the Democrat primary in NYC for mayor, we must not support removing his citizenship. That’s the last thing anyone should be suggesting.

Leftists cannot contain their desire to own people. They love having their indentured servants.

Mayor Eric Adams (I-NYC) gave a rousing reason why New Yorkers are not socialists and should never support socialism. Riots are down in LA and maybe it’s because the DOJ and the FBI are investigating the funding sources.

Finally, Trump gives us two different sound bites, one on how some economists admit they were wrong about his tariff plan and another wondering how Sen. Chuck “You” Schumer (D-NY) went from loving the Jewish people to choosing the Palestinians instead?
