  • Go-Getter Day Unpacked: Booby Experts, Business Breakthroughs and Pure Magic
    Jun 29 2025

What happens when 65 ambitious women in business gather together under one roof? I’ll tell you what happens - pure magic.

The feedback from our latest Go-Getter Day was that the event felt like family. Imagine a group of inspiring women gathered together to connect, grow and support one another through networking and expert bespoke coaching. It’s a day filled with collaboration and community where some real work gets done, leaving everyone feeling empowered and invigorated.

I never set out to become an event host, but watching women travel across Australia to be part of Go-Getter Day has shown me that we've built something truly special.

    Expert Bespoke Coaching

The Queen's Council offers personalised coaching from a panel of five experts—bespoke coaching with me, a social media expert, a Meta ads expert, a virtual assistant expert and Tracy Rudich, our booby expert from Intimo. That’s right - boobies! It was an absolute hit.

Networking on the day is dynamic and intentional. Lunch becomes an opportunity to connect with fresh faces, fostering unexpected relationships that often become lasting partnerships. Afternoons transform into hot seat sessions—ten-minute focused discussions that consistently spark insights, lots of laughter and tears. Always tears.

    Conquering Self Promotion Fears

After the hot seat sessions, one of the highlights for me is when these fabulous women courageously get up on the mic in front of everyone to conquer their self-promotion fears. This builds incredible confidence as women articulate their mission, knowing they have the full attention of a supportive room.

    Community That Transcends Everything

Go-Getter Day welcomes everyone with open arms - from business newbies to entrepreneurs with multimillion dollar businesses because the value of community truly does transcend revenue. And that’s the whole point of this very special day - connection and community.

Our next gathering is September 4th so if you would love to be supported by a genuine community of like minded women, we would love to see you there.

  • Stop Hiding Behind Your Business! Your Audience Needs You
    Jun 22 2025

I have a confession to make. For the longest time, I've been hiding behind my business. I know this might sound odd coming from someone who records podcasts, runs awesome events and has been in the business game for years. But here's the thing—I'm not a fan of being the centre of attention. My business became my shield, and I let it do all the talking while I stayed safely in the background.

In this episode, I’m sharing about the recent heart-to-heart I had with my podcast producer that made me realise just how much I’d been hiding my true self from my audience. The irony wasn't lost on me—my work is all about connection, yet I'd been disconnecting from the very people I'm meant to serve out of fear of being truly seen.

We’ll explore the "trust recession" we’re in, where trust levels have nosedived, and how hiding behind our screens or microphones makes this disconnect worse. I share my ongoing struggle with showing up authentically without oversharing, questioning whether I’m serving my audience or just my own ego.

You'll discover why treating business development like a checklist routine misses genuine connection opportunities, and how staying invisible creates a vicious cycle where people can't trust what they can't see. I encourage you to ask yourself what the real cost of not showing up is, and I talk about what it means to me and my business.

On the bright side of it all is this: if an introvert like me can push past the natural inclination to hide and show up consistently, anyone can do it. This is your permission slip to step out in whatever way works for you, build trust through authentic visibility and choose vibrant growth over stagnation.

I’d love to hear what you think. Share this with your business mates who could use a nudge to show up more consistently. Let's do this together!

  • The Downside of Discipline Nobody Talks About
    Jun 15 2025

When you think of someone disciplined, you might imagine someone who's up at the crack of dawn, who never hits snooze and has a spotless track record of getting everything done.

    Spoiler alert: that's not me.

I have my fair share of skipped workouts and unread emails. But somehow, I manage to get the big, important things done.

I've built a business and a life that I love, not because I have perfect discipline - not at all - but because I’ve figured out what’s important to me.

    Discipline Where It Counts

I have discipline as one of my top strengths, but only when it counts the most. It's about getting a grasp on the things that are critical to me. For example, in my earlier years, I managed to buy four houses before the age of 30 while juggling a full-time HR role, running a side hustle and studying at university. Impressive? Perhaps. But not everything demanded the same level of discipline. My university work? Let's just say I did just enough to get by and that's perfectly fine because I'm more street smart than book smart.

    When Discipline Becomes a Curse

Being disciplined also has a down side. Around 18 months ago, I pledged to walk 20,000 steps each day. At first, I thought it would be easy, but it soon became a borderline obsession. Missing a step count isn’t an option for me. While some might call it dedication, this level of discipline can also feel like a curse because I'm unable to let myself off the hook - ever. The decision-making strain disappears when discipline kicks in, but the inflexibility can sometimes be stifling.

    What Are Your Big Rocks?

The million-dollar question is: What are your big rocks? What are the big things that matter to you and are you putting the discipline, the effort and the structure in place in those areas?

For some, it’s revenue. For others it’s visibility. Everyone's path to discipline and success is different so it’s about finding what resonates with you and being disciplined with the things that truly matter.
