Acerca de esta escucha

In today’s episode, I’m sharing something that’s been on my heart: the difference between striving for self-improvement and choosing surrender to Jesus.

After seeing a video that hit me right in the gut, I was reminded of my own journey through the endless cycle of trying to "fix myself"—and how it never truly worked.

The world says, “You got this.”

Jesus says, “Without Me, you can do nothing.”

The Gospel doesn’t invite us to improve ourselves—it calls us to surrender.

Whether you’re in a season of burnout, trying to do all the things, or just feeling like you’ll never be enough, I hope this episode reminds you that you were never meant to carry it all.

You were meant to lay it down at His feet.

  • My personal story with self-improvement and burnout
  • Why self-help falls short of real heart change
  • What the Bible says about surrender (Luke 9:23, John 15:5, 2 Corinthians 12:9, Romans 12:1–2)
  • What surrender looks like practically in everyday life
  • A short prayer of surrender and encouragement for your walk with Jesus

“You are not a project to fix. You are a daughter to be loved.”

  • Luke 9:23 (KJV)
  • John 15:5
  • 2 Corinthians 12:9
  • Romans 12:1–2
