Duncan discusses his journey from outdoor sports to his first London Marathon in the 1990s. He candidly discusses his journey back to running in 2019 and how the first virtual London Marathon was a challenge. Josh and Martin also talk about club nights at Emerson's Green Running Club this week, the club championship and upcoming races. We also begin our journey of capturing whether the Keynsham Dandy, the Doynton Hard Half Marathon or the Dursley Dozen is the toughest race in the Bristol/North Somerset and Gloucestershire region.

  • Stride by Stride Special Episode: Bristol Running Show

    This is episode 4 and a first special from Josh and Martin. They attended Bristol Running Show on the 23rd of March. This episode features them running the Sri Chimnoy 5k run hosted at the running show. They talk to the participants about their running. Martin and Josh also interviewed Tamara Miller, an Ultra Runner, Coach and Nutritionist from Dorset. They talk about Tamara's achievements and events, as well as what motivates her, how she overcomes barriers and a brief discussion about nutrition.

    Martin and Josh were also able to catch up with the exhibitors, many from local events to Bristol. Interviews with Sri Chimnoy races, Badminton Bolt races, Redfish events, Kinetic Sports Physio, Save Whitchurch Track Project, Frome Valley 10k, Chippenham Half Marathon and Conquer24. Josh and Martin also talk with Sole Steppers from Bradley Stoke, running group and organisers of Bradley Stoke 10k and Bristol Step Sistas, a walking group for women of colour.
