Hello and Welcome! Today's story is one of a gentle hero - Pennygirl's Rescue written by Judy McGee. In this story we meet a lab mix dog named Pennygirl. Pennygirl is enjoying her life on a farm along with her siblings. All was well until Grandma Adeline fell and hurt her leg. Penny does what she can to get help for Grandma Adeline. As luck would have it, Pennygirl and her siblings have to move to a dog shelter since Grandma Adeline didn't return to live in her farm house. As Pennygirl gets used to her new life at the dig shelter she can't help but wonder when she will get adopted by a family, just like her friend Lenny the Shih-Poo.
