Acerca de esta escucha
A special episode of Another Paramedic Podcast, in this episode we talk about elective placements, these are placements that usually occur in the third year of the Paramedic Science degree but are not in the local Hospital or Ambulance Trusts, usually the students organise them individually and they can be anywhere in the world.
We talk about funding specifically from the UoS for students who want to undertake an elective placement internationally.
All the members of the podcast work for the University of Sunderland and usually teach as part of the Paramedic Science and Out of Hospital Care BSc (HONS) course. We would like to thank the University of Sunderland for allowing us to record using their fantastic suites. If anyone has any questions about being a Paramedic or studying to become a Paramedic with the University of Sunderland, please get in touch and we would be happy to chat with you.
This episode features John Bailey and Alice Ortlieb.
