Mixtape Monday has been my longest running mixtape series in the New 52 Mixshow with its eclectic sounds and variety of sets. But in recent years, it's been more EDM focused. Once upon a time, Sunday Vibes used to be Sunday Funday. I changed the name of this mixtape series because I felt the vibes were different when I Dj'd on Sundays. They say you're only as good as your last performance... Well, I believe that. Today's episode of The 765 Podcast is live from my former club residency, Dancers Showclub. I often been asked over the years, "what kind of music do you play in a gentlemen's club"? A little bit of everything to be honest, that's why I consider myself an open format Dj. Over my 13 years there, I incorporated Dj gear such as turntables, CDJs, Dj controllers to bring a nightclub feel to the gentlemen's club. I always loved to mix in the club because it was very eclectic when it came to reading a crowd and incorporating the entertainers into the mix. This set was done close to the last hour of the evening as things wind down and I prepare to fly out afterwards, to none other than my new home, Seattle.
