Sleep Meditation - Prioritising Rest For The New Year

  • Resumen

  • Tonight’s Sleep Meditation with Karissa invites you to drop into the natural quiet and cosiness of winter. Let's tune into the deep, ancient rhythms of the natural world that have been embedded in the genetics of your ancestors. In nature, winter is a time of scarcity and harsh weather conditions. It is not the ideal time to make great expenditures of energy. It's the time to prioritise rest, and take some time to recuperate, ready for the renewal of spring. First, we'll start with some relaxing insight from Karissa (00:00-04:03) Before tonight's Sleep Meditation (04:03-39:55) You may be expecting to turn everything around in the new year, setting goals and resolutions. If that pressure feels a little unnatural, just know that all of nature is still hibernating, and won’t burst forth with new life until spring. So, if you'd like it to be, winter can be a sweet moment of peace to contemplate where you’ve been and also bring you fully into the present so you can rest well and awaken tomorrow bright eyed for whatever life may bring next. Sleep wave is a phenomenal podcast!

I so appreciate each and every episode. I honestly don’t enjoy many other “guided” meditations. Before sleep wave (and now also sleep magic) I only listened to 432 hz frequency. Thanks for all your hard work in bringing us such helpful content and helping me fall asleep and stay asleep at night.
