 The Red Sox evened up their series in Kansas City Saturday night with a 10-1 victory over the Royals at Kauffman Stadium. The Red Sox collected 14 Hits (5 extra-base hits) and scored 3 runs in 3 different innings in the win. The Sox have won 3 of 4 and will go for the series win on Sunday. It's Sogard's first time in the big leagues this season. Gonzalez is dealing with a left quad contusion. He was involved in a collision at 1st-base during the Rangers series at Fenway. Sogard made his MLB debut with the Red Sox in 2024 and had 21 hits, including 4 Doubles, in 31 Games. -----What's On Tap?: The Red Sox conclude their weekend series in Kansas City Sunday afternoon. Lucas Giolito and Seth Luga are the probable starters for Sunday.
