These challenges are private, personal and overall precious to our hearts as many feel hopeless, helpless and very frustrated. As you continue to carry such weight, the effects may cause harm to many areas of your life including personal relationships with others and one’s overall mental and physical health. Due to the taboo of therapy and personal fears many carry this pain without any relief. Many parents today are struggling with their children and their behavior as being a parent did not come with a manual. As summer is now here many children are bored and parents are being faced with many challenges as they don't know what to do. Today's show will discuss healthy ways to parent children. I will discuss the old parenting styles versus the new styles. I will address how to redirect inappropriate behaviors for children between the age of 0 to the age of a legal adult. The goal is to help individuals that believe their kids are out of control. I will provide appropriate parenting skills for parents through education, support and community resources.

Or your adult child went to college, had a bad relationship and need to come back and you are thinking what am I suppose to do? Let's not forget the child with the criminal history or addiction. Today's episode will address the issue of parenting adult children. The show will provide examples of real life situation. It will address entitlement issues, helping versus hurting. It will also provide information for both the parents and the adult child. As we discuss parenting an adult child by developing and setting boundaries, regaining your power and control by reducing your parental guilt as you engage in a healthy adult relationship.
