In this lesson covering the end of Sūrah Yūnus and the beginning of Sūrah Hūd (10:107 to 11:4), Shaykh Dr. Aḥsan Ḥanīf explains Allah’s absolute control over harm and benefit and the consequences of accepting or rejecting divine guidance. The verses highlight that the truth has come from Allah and each person is responsible for their own path. As the Prophet ﷺ is instructed to remain patient, the opening of Sūrah Hūd reinforces the Quran’s perfection and clarity, calling humanity to worship Allah alone, seek forgiveness and repent, promising provision and reward for the obedient and warning of punishment for those who turn away.
