Good morning, Buckeyes! It's Monday, July 14, 2025, and here's what's happening this week at Ohio State University-Marion Campus. First up, we have Orientation sessions scheduled for Thursday, July 17. The first session runs from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and the second from 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Both will be held in Maynard Hall. These sessions are designed to introduce new students to campus life, academic programs, and the resources available to support your success. If you're a new Buckeye, be sure to register through your Applicant Center after paying the acceptance fee. On Friday, July 18, the 2025 Warren G. Harding Symposium kicks off. This year's theme is "Politics at the Doorstep: Presidential Front Porch Campaigns." The symposium begins with an opening reception from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. On Saturday, July 19, workshops will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Ohio State Marion campus, followed by a gala dinner and panel discussion from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. This event offers a deep dive into the history of presidential campaigns, featuring experts from various presidential sites. Looking ahead, additional Orientation sessions are scheduled for July 24 and July 29, with both morning and afternoon options available. These will also be held in Maynard Hall.
