Often, stories are how we make sense of the world. Sometimes the world helps us make sense of stories. Or serves as a reminder. This is the case for the Witch's Leg, a large oak tree standing in the middle of the ruins of St Mary's church hidden within the forest. According to legend, it is a defiant remnant of an alleged witch buried there during the witch trials in England. But the oak may not be the only remnant of the departed...
