Don't worry, everything's fine. I was scrolling through my newsfeed yesterday and read a story about emergency room coverage. Experts say that the 4th of July is, on average, the busiest night in the ER each year. Actually, the 4th and the 5th are typically most active thanks to injuries sustained from fireworks. Two other busier-than-normal times in the hospital are December 31st and January 1st. Of course, fireworks are used on those nights, too. While I appreciate watching a big, high-powered fireworks show, I don't have any interest in shooting them off myself. I don't know why so many people feel the need...
