Mount Zion is the Dwelling Place of God. According to Joel 3:17 "So shall ye know that I am the LORD your God dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain: then shall Jerusalem be holy, and there shall no strangers pass through her any more.”

Isaiah 8:18 Behold, I and the children whom the Lord hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the Lord of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion."

So Isaiah is also telling us that the Lord dwelleth in Mount Zion.

Isaiah also tells us in 55:6 "Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.”

The LORD is present with us and watching over us now. But the wicked is not yet destroyed. We should be seeking God now, and looking forward to the future. We should get prepared for the coming of the LORD.
