Our guest for Season 4 Episode 4 of the GAA Minor Moments podcast with Electric Ireland is former Offaly Hurler Michael Duignan.
In this episode Michael reminisces about his wonderful sporting journey which included an All-Ireland Minor Hurling triumph with Offaly in 1986.
Michael reflects on his time winning two senior Hurling All-Ireland titles to transitioning from the pitch to leadership roles in both Offaly GAA and his club, Ballinamere/Durrow. This episode goes on to explore themes of personal and collective development, the resurgence of Offaly hurling, and its growing popularity throughout the county.
Every Tuesday well known Irish stars will share memories from their early sporting careers and reflect on the defining moments from playing Minor and how that shaped them both on and off the pitch.
