The Gospel of Mark is a fast-paced, powerful account of Jesus’ life, focused on revealing his true identity as the Messiah and King. The book is structured in two halves: the first shows Jesus’ authority through teaching and miracles, and the second reveals his path of suffering. The turning point is Peter’s declaration that Jesus is the Messiah (Mark 8:29), followed by Jesus redefining kingship through the cross. This series, **“The King’s Cross,”** explores selected stories from Mark that show who Jesus is, what he did, and why it matters—calling believers to follow him by taking up their own cross.
