It's then time for Listener Opinions from Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. Then it's time to discuss this great Chang Cheh directed Jimmy Wang Yu movie. It's a fun discussion. They then answer the questions of whether they noticed anything in One-Armed Swordsman that Tarantino might have liked or used in a film. It's then time for them to individually rate the movie. They then discuss whether they would buy, rent, or find this movie for free. Phillip then gives his Phil's Film Favorite of the Week; Looking for Mr. Goodbar (1977). Sam then gives a recommendations of his own; Pater Noster and The Mission of Light (2024). Phillip then promotes next week's show when he will be joined once again by A.C. He then talks about what he thought Tarantino might have liked or used in a film. Phillip then rates the movie on a 1 to 5 scale. Then he lets you know whether he would buy it, rent it, or find it for free. It's then time for Phil's Film Favorite of the Week; Sinners (2025) (5 stars.) These guys are great! If you're a fan of Tarantino. prepare to spend many, many hours listening to Phillip and Chip review the movies that inspired Tarantino himself. Even the most devout Tarantino fans will be captivated by Phillip's impressively vast knowledge of not only modern film as an art form, but especially Tarantino's unique body of work. I dare you to pose a question he can't answer! In addition, Chip and Phillip are a couple of really nice, funny, genuine guys, and that comes across in the podcast. Listening to Making Tarantino is always an enjoyable, and educational experience, and they get two thumbs up from this film nerd!
