Parental liability

Thank you Captain for noting that this scenario is one of parental neglect. I've listened to and read many accounts of this sad affair and all accounts seem give the McCanns a huge pass on their acts of parental neglict (maybe because they are a white, well educated, attractive, relatively wealthy, English speaking family). My thoughts: If one opts to go to the Tapas Bar and leave the kids unattended then at least lock the doors! I'm by no means a perfect parent but I think that locking the doors was the least that they could have done to keep the kids safe.
