  • 005 grief sucks
    May 27 2025

On the same day I gave birth to my daughter, my dad went to Heaven. It was the most surreal, raw, and world-altering day — one that marked me forever. There will always be a before and after of this moment for me.

In this episode, I share the full story of navigating deep grief and overwhelming joy all at once.

If you're walking through loss, feeling like no one could possibly understand the weight you're carrying, I want you to know: you are not alone.

My hope is that through my story, you will feel seen, held, and reminded that God is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18) He is a God of comfort, and even in the most painful moments, He does not leave us (Deuteronomy 31:6, Joshua 1:9)

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God." (2 Corinthians 1:3–4)

This episode is for anyone who’s grieving, who’s holding joy and sorrow in the same hands, and who’s searching for hope in the heartache.
