Despite all the rain, the Minnesota Twins and Cleveland Guardians managed to get a couple games in at Target Field this series, splitting the pair. And that seemed just fine, considering how battered the Twins' lineup is now. David and Dan discuss the impact weather had on this series while seriously questioning how Rocco Baldelli handled it, while they also saw the ending to Game 1 as the most Minnesota ending a baseball game could have. They assess how the team is holding together the lineup without Carlos Correa and Byron Buxton, and they look ahead to a big weekend of baseball in the AL Central. The Minnesota Twins take 2 of 3 from the Milwaukee Brewers at American Family Field. Andrew "Hoges" Hoganson fills in for Dan, and worries that filling in for Dan is what caused the winning streak to end. The boys talk through all of the latest injury news and the transactions processed by the team. David wants to know what the expectation should be for the upcoming American League Central series against the Guardians and the Royals knowing the roster will be a makeshift group. Hoges wants to know if Rocco managed differently to start the streak because he knew he was on the hot seat, while David just wonders if Rocco has also at times been confused about this winning streak. David loves Pablo Lopez showing off some swagger, and Hoges wants to know if the Twins are a legitimate playoff team. The Minnesota Twins sweep the Baltimore Orioles in a three-game set at Camden Yards. The Twins extend their winning streak to 11-straight games, the most done so far in the MLB this year. Andrew "Hoges" Hoganson fills in for Dan Thompson, and the boys are giddy due to the Twins current streak. The guys discuss the unbelievable wins the Twins pulled out against all odds with several guys struggling with injuries and a overly-taxed bullpen. Hoges offers high praise for Rocco for managing to win these games, and David wants to see the Twins recall Randy Dobnak to fill in as a long reliever. David once again romanticizes a Kody Clemens homerun, while Hoges can't stop talking about Willi Castro's great catch in left. David is curious if this is what we can expect out of Chris Paddack moving forward, while Hoges wants to know how many AL Central teams will make the postseason.
