Chris grew up in the gritty neighborhoods of Boston, raised in the shadow of a father known more for his criminal past of armed robbery than for his family presence. His father, a hardened man, spent years behind bars for armed robbery. Despite this, or perhaps because of it, Chris chose a path into law enforcement, beginning his career as a Jail Officer One (JO-1). With grit and determination, he climbed the ranks to become a Building OIC Officer in Charge with the rank of Lieutenant.

Assigned to one of the most volatile sections of the maximum security jail in Boston, Massachusetts, Chris earned respect as the officer in charge—firm, fair, and unflinching when asked to do the tough jobs.
