The Orioles' pitching was dominant, led by Corbin Burnes, who threw seven shutout innings while striking out eight. Baltimore's James McCann was a standout offensively, going 2-3 with two home runs and three RBIs. Keider Montero and Tyler Holton struggled on the mound for Detroit, allowing seven runs combined. With this loss, the Tigers' record drops to 80-74 as they head into the final stretch of the season.
