  • Outside In (Ep 7)
    May 25 2025

We DO NOT play as three emotions in the mind of a coma patient, we ARE NOT pursued by Love, and it certainly IS NOT Opposite Day!

BTS/Trivia: Zest was originally pitched as having 2.5 kids, per his role as a boring, average dad. While we paired it down to one kid in the episode, Trey picked the only one of the three names suggested that had nothing to do with Zest and was included as a joke: Passion, Affection, and Angst.

This was our longest unedited episode at 2 hr 50 min. A lot of banter, bickering, and discussing plans on who we would recruit got cut to make it better paced and around the same length as the other episodes.

This episode spawned a discussion on us banning some tropes we were seeing: cool it with the abusive parents and Tegan's character betraying the party.

  • I was at the Chernobyl Explosion! [NOT CLICKBAIT!!!] (Ep 6)
    May 11 2025

Chernobyl has lain dormant for decades. It would be a pity if three YouTubers showed up and caused some problems . . .

BTS/Trivia: We had recorded a different episode 6 with Caleb as DM and Alex as a player, which we scrapped because we felt it was a big step down in quality from our previous episodes (it may resurface as bonus content at some point).

Halfway through recording this episode, we found it had stopped recording ten minutes in. We debated scrapping the episode, but knew our moral was already low, so decided to push through with a summary of the first half and a continuation of the episode.

This is the only episode under an hour.

  • Baptized in Bilgewater (Ep 5)
    Apr 2 2025

In what we consider our funniest episode to date; three bumbling pirates seek redemption for their crimes. But watch out - the commadore and Davy Jones are just around the corner!

BTS/trivia: Scarlet is one of the only player characters to have a definitive age - although never mentioned in the episode itself - during character creation she is canonically established as 19.

Before agreeing to play the podcast’s first female player character, Timothy’s initial idea was to play a conscripted banker named Mr. Billington.

This is currently our longest edited episode, although we’ve had longer uncut episodes since then.

  • Hackshire Ridge (Ep 4)
    Mar 17 2025

In this one-shot, 4 Hobbits take on an army of orcs at the deadly Hackshire Ridge. We will need to dig deep, not only to survive, but to give the performance of a lifetime!

BTS/trivia: We accidentally had the gain on our mikes set to 100%, so some of our audio ended up unintelligible, and this became the first episode we needed to re-record some of our dialogue.

Caleb originally wanted us to manage a disastrous dinner party, but we argued it wasn’t in the spirit of the prompt and heavily encouraged/forced him to make it a war-themed episode.

This is technically not the first time Alex has appeared on this podcast, because he was actually a player in our unreleased test episode.

This episode is the favorite episode of one of our moms.

  • Taking a Dump to Achieve Nirvana {Any% Speedrun} (Ep 3)
    Feb 28 2025

The hits keep on coming! In our third episode, the three of us must navigate the dangers of the Backrooms in order to achieve the high score. The issue? A little device known as a doomsday bomb!

BTS/trivia: After episode 2, we switched mikes back to the ones we used in episode 1. However, without Wyatt acting as our sound guy, we didn’t have the settings quite right, resulting in some abysmal audio quality for this episode and the next.

Because those mikes have noise suppressors, you can no longer hear us rolling dice, and we start saying “Podcast!” Instead of clapping, because clapping doesn’t get picked up.

We lost power - twice - while recording this episode. Thankfully, we record to Timothy’s laptop, so it didn’t disrupt our electronics, but there are a few sections in the middle of the episode where we are recording in the dark.

  • Edging My Lord Until We Unionize (Ep 2)
    Feb 28 2025

The boys are back, with another hilarious one-shot! This time we play as three edgelords in a quest to determine if the demons within are stronger than the horrors of Great Depression Era America - one haunted by unspeakable Lovecraftian creatures!

BTS/trivia: We switched to a single “universal” mike this episode, but agreed we sounded echo-y and dropped it for all future episodes.

We record on a single channel, so “clapping to sync” is totally unnecessary, and is just a bit we introduce in this episode. Probably for the best, because we’re terrible at actually syncing them.

This is the only episode where you can hear us riffing while brainstorming our characters. For pacing issues, every future episode will completely cut all brainstorming we do between the wheel rolls and character introductions.

Similarly, this episode is the only one with section announcements, because we agreed they sounded a bit jarring.

This episode holds the record for most rejected episode titles. Trey maintains we should have named it “I Got Cucked by an Extra-dimensional Being.”

  • You Ain't from Around Here? (Ep 1)
    Feb 28 2025

In episode one of our shiny new D&D podcast, we play a one-shot where a bunch of recently divorced Appalachian hillbillies investigate a strange mafia.

BTS/trivia: This episode uses a system Caleb created called “3 Stat Attack” but every episode going forward will use a system by Trey called “D&D Lite.”

This is the only episode without a post credits scene.

It is also the only episode we reference the podcast as a “Just Wyatt Production.” Wyatt ended up falling through on producing our episodes, and Timothy is now the editor/producer. Since Wyatt was also our sound guy, future episodes will have a series of sound issues before we figure out what we’re doing.
