Acerca de esta escucha
In this 3rd episode of What The Nanny Heard... Next: Charlotte, Charlie and Millie interview Norland Nanny Emma Davis about her path from the world renowned Norland College to 1st Aid Trainer and everything in between.
Emma discusses jumping into Nannying with both feet when her Nannying career began in London with 4 children under 5! Not shy of a challenge, Emma stayed with that family for 8 years before settling down to have a family of her own. Emma describes the long list of varied routes she dabbled with before settling with her passion of 1st Aid.
Emma talks about how she likes to run her courses, ensuring they are lively, engaging and not death by power point. She explains what Nannying skills were transferable and the challenges she overcame.
Emma has words of warning for Nannies before booking any 1st Aid course.
Do your due diligence… Is your 1st Aid trainer registered? Regulated? Is their training up to date? Emma lets us know how (scarily) easy it is for someone to become a trainer.
Emma gives us a small insight to her current very secret plans for the future, her rebrand and bringing fun back in to learning. We hope Emma will return for another episode once her rebrand is no longer classified information!
