Your vulva has a lot to say, and we’re here to translate. When was your last conversation about vulvas? We’re guessing it was at your most recent OBGYN appointment, if then. But Dr Meredith McClure and Dr Ashley Fuller talk about vulvas all day, every day. Because just like any other body part, a healthy vulva is important to overall health and well being. So, what would your vulva like you to know? (First message: “I’m not the vagina!”) In this podcast you’ll learn the proper names of all the down-there areas, how to keep them healthy, what annoyingly persistent myths about your reproductive organs you can ignore, and so much more. Jun 25 2025

Ever looked down there and thought, “Wait… has that always been there?” You’re not alone.

In this no-shame, no-stupid-questions episode of Labia Logic, Drs. Meredith McClure and Ashley Fuller are here to talk bumps on the vulva—from the totally normal to the “maybe-I-should-call-my-doctor” kind. Instead of Googling "tiny bump on vulva," at midnight, listen to this episode instead–you’re awake anyway!

This episode gives you the power of vulvar knowledge: what’s normal, what’s not, and when to phone a friend (a.k.a. your healthcare provider). Learn to distinguish herpes from ingrown hairs, papillomas from warts, and why your vulva deserves as much attention as the rest of your body.

Get ready to take your mirror, your courage, and your curiosity into the bathroom—because knowledge is vaginal power.

  • 6. Who Runs the Vulva? A Dermatologist-Gynecologist Smackdown
    Jun 11 2025

Let’s talk about vulvas, baby! In this laugh-and-learn episode of Labia Logic, we’re diving deep (pun very much intended) into a part of women’s health that too often gets glossed over—vulvar dermatology.

Dr. Melissa Mausker joins Drs. Ashley Fuller and Meredith McClure for this episode to chat all about what it means to specialize in vulvar dermatology, why collaboration between dermatologists and gynecologists is so crucial, and how education and mentorship are shaping the future of this often-overlooked field. Dr. Mausker’s resident Krsitin Schiele, MD joins for part of the conversation too. She chimes in on beginning her career in dermatology and the importance of mentorship within the field.

It’s not just about itching and burning (though yes, we cover that too)—it’s about building a better understanding of the skin below the belt and breaking down the taboo around vulvar health. Expect practical tips, empowering insights, and knowing which vulvar care products make the expert-approved cut.

    More about our guest:

Dr. Melissa Mausker is a Board Certified Dermatologist and Associate Professor in the Departments of Dermatology and Obstetrics and Gynecology in Dallas, Texas. Dr Mauskar is the Director of The Vulvar Health Program at UT. Her clinical practice is focused on women’s health dermatology, addressing changes in skin and vulvar health that occur throughout different life stages. She cares for patients with everything from acute rashes to acne; however, she is an expert in treating patients with vulvar dermatoses.

  • 5. Eau De Vag: Decoding Vulvar & Vaginal Odor
    May 28 2025

In this no-holds-barred episode of Labia Logic, Doctors Ashley Fuller and Meredith McClure tackle a topic that’s been unfairly shrouded in shame and scented sprays: vaginal and vulvar odor.

That’s right—we’re going nose-first into the world of what’s normal, what’s not, and why your body’s natural aroma isn’t something to be Febreezed into submission. From the ebb and flow of hormonal changes to the nuances of bacterial vaginosis, our hosts peel back the layers (metaphorically, don’t panic) on what really causes vaginal odor—and why it’s high time we stopped whispering about it.

With their signature mix of science, sass, and zero shame, Ashley and Meredith explore how menstruation, menopause, and even your post-spin class sweat can influence your scent. They remind us that knowing your own body is a radical act of self-care—and that sometimes, a trip to the doctor is the best accessory to your pH balance.
