After the club released the confirmed departures list, Jacob is joined by guest co-host and Tigers Women and Welsh rugby fan Hannah to offer listeners catharsis and attempt at rationality after some heavy-hitting news about big name departures. Jacob also goes over some news and gives a short preview on the final game of the season this Friday against Exeter Chiefs Women at Mattioli Woods Welford Road and what paths lie ahead for the pod in the off-season between now and August. Guest co-host Max Kirby once again joins Jacob to have a chat about the big news that Tom Hudson and Luke Stratford will be departing the game at the end of the season. We also go through some of the BIG PWR results, particularly how both Chiefs and Quins losing changes the Top Four battle. It's 2025, new year, new beginnings and what a start for Tigers Women as they bank their first ever home win in the domestic top flight with a resounding victory over Sale. This also marks our first pod since the news that Jess has become the new Tigers Women and Development Officer and as such as had to leave the Fancast, this means that this week Jacob is joined by friend of the pod and Tigers Women superfan Max Kirby to chat about that big win against Sale and looking forward to an away fixture at a less-than-invincible Sarries.
