  • West Philly shooting leaves 3 hospitalized

    Three men are hospitalized after a triple shooting Friday evening on the 5700 block of Osage Avenue. Police say the shooting was reported at about 6:50 p.m. Officers found two men suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were taken to area hospitals. One is in critical condition and the second in stable condition. Police say a third man later arrived at the hospital with a gunshot wound and is in stable condition.   • Police: Anyone caught intentionally setting fire at trash drop off sites will be prosecuted

    Philadelphia police and the Fire Department are warning against the intentional setting of fires at the city's various trash drop off locations amid the DC 33 strike. The warning comes after authorities say they responded to multiple fires at trash collection sites overnight. The cause of the fires is still unknown and ATF is helping Philly PD in their investigation.   • Police searching for suspects in separate Philly stabbing incidents

    Three people were stabbed in separate incidents overnight across the city, according to police. In West Philly, two women were stabbed just after 10 p.m. Thursday night, on the 300 block of South 60th Street. Officials say a 29-year-old woman was stabbed in the left leg, and a 25-year-old woman was stabbed in the left arm. Both women were taken to the hospital in stable condition. Police say no arrests have been made, but the suspect is described as another female wearing an orange shirt and black tights. In North Philly, police say a 33-year-old man was found suffering from stab wounds to both arms and his stomach. It happened just before 4:45 a.m. Friday on the 3300 block of Hartville Street in Kensington. Officials say he was taken to the hospital where he was listed in stable condition.
