    Jul 16 2025
Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Philippians 4:6

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.”
    PHILIPPIANS 4:6

    DEVOTION
    Based on Philippians 4:6
This verse is more than just advice; it’s an invitation to transform worry into worship. When anxiety rises like a tide threatening to overwhelm us, God offers an alternative: prayer infused with gratitude. Notice how Thanksgiving is integral to this approach. It’s not about denying our concerns but rather bringing them to the One who holds all things.

Every anxious thought can become a conversation with God. He doesn’t promise to remove every difficulty, but He does promise His presence in the midst of them. Today, consider what worries you can transform into prayers. The practice of prayer with thanksgiving rewires our anxious hearts, turning fear into faith and worry into worship.
    A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
ADORATION: Lord, You are sovereign over every circumstance. You hear every prayer and hold every concern in Your mighty hands. Nothing is too great for Your power or too small for Your attention.

CONFESSION: I confess I often carry burdens You never asked me to bear alone. I've let anxiety steal my peace instead of bringing my concerns to You.

THANKSGIVING: Thank You for the privilege of prayer, for always being available to hear my heart. Thank You that I don't have to face anything alone, that Your peace guards my heart and mind.

SUPPLICATION: Father, help me remember to pray before I panic. Teach me to bring every concern to You with thanksgiving. Replace my anxiety with Your perfect peace. Show me how to trust You with the things I cannot control.

    PRAYER
“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.”
    PHILIPPIANS 4:6
Dear God, As we come before You today, and we confess that at times we allow worry and fear to consume us, and we ask for Your forgiveness and grace. Help us to trust in Your love and goodness, knowing that You will provide for all our needs according to your riches in Christ Jesus. May we turn to You in prayer and supplication, giving thanks for all that You have done and all that you will do in our lives. When anxiety mounts and seeks to steal away our peace in You, we pray that You would move swiftly to defend us. In Jesus' name, Amen. 🙏🏾

    Jul 15 2025
    Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 1 Peter 5:7

Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.”
    1 PETER 5:7

    DEVOTION
    Based on 1 Peter 5
God doesn’t just tolerate our worries—He invites them. 1 Peter 5:7 reminds us that we don’t have to carry the weight of anxiety and burdens alone. To “cast” is to release fully, to throw off what we were never meant to bear.

Often, we hold onto stress, thinking we must handle everything ourselves. But Scripture calls us to let it go and place it in God’s hands. Why? Because He cares for us—personally, tenderly, consistently. His care isn’t distant or conditional; it’s constant and intimate. Whatever weighs on your heart today, hand it over to the One who loves you and holds all things together.
    A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
ADORATION: Lord, You are the God who sees me, hears me, and carries my burdens. I praise You for Your loving care and constant presence.

CONFESSION: I often hold onto my worries instead of trusting You fully. I let anxiety steal my peace rather than casting my cares on You.

THANKSGIVING: Thank you for your endless patience with me. Thank you for caring about even the small details of my life and always being ready to lift what weighs me down.

SUPPLICATION: Father, teach me to release my worries into Your hands. Help me not to pick them back up after I’ve laid them down in prayer. Let your peace guard my heart and mind. Show me daily how to walk lightly, not burdened, trusting that You are already working things out for my good and Your glory.

    PRAYER
“Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.”
    1 PETER 5:7
Dear Lord, You are trustworthy, caring, and compassionate. You have broken down any wall that separated me from You. I know I can trust You with my burdens. I can trust You to take my anxiety, fear, and doubt and replace them with peace. Today, I place my burdens at the feet of the cross and declare victory over all that would seek to pull me away from You. Take my burdens from me, Lord, or give me the strength to bear them with courage and joy. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏🏾

  • Episode 1403 - Jarvis Kingston Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends JOHN 15:13 MLB All Star WNBA
    Jul 14 2025
Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 John 15:13

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
    JOHN 15:13

    DEVOTION
    Based on John 15
Jesus redefines love, not as mere words or emotion, but as sacrifice. In John 15:13, He reveals the highest expression of love: giving one’s life for another. This points not only to His coming sacrifice on the cross, but also to how we’re called to love others—selflessly, courageously, and without reservation.

Love isn’t always easy or convenient. It costs time, pride, comfort, and sometimes more. But when we choose to love like Jesus, we reflect His heart to the world. Whether through forgiveness, service, or simply showing up in someone’s pain, this is what true friendship and Christlike love look like.
    A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
ADORATION: Jesus, You are love in its purest form—laying down Your life for us so we could live. Your sacrifice is unmatched, and Your love is everlasting.

CONFESSION: I often settle for shallow love—loving when it’s easy, withholding when it’s not.

THANKSGIVING: Thank You for loving me with a love that goes beyond words. Thank You for laying down Your life so I could be forgiven, free, and whole. Thank You for placing people in my life who’ve shown me selfless love in big and small ways.

SUPPLICATION: Lord, help me to love like You. Make me willing to sacrifice my comfort, pride, or time for the sake of others. Teach me to be the kind of friend who stays, serves, and lays down my life daily in love. Let my actions speak louder than my words and point others back to You.

    PRAYER
“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”
    JOHN 15:13
Dear Heavenly Father, We come to You today with humble hearts and a desire to seek Your will. We ask that You grant us the grace of selflessness so we may emulate the kind of friendship depicted on the cross. Help us to learn what it means to truly put the needs of others above our own, for Your glory. Let us not be afraid of sacrifice or discomfort as we seek to serve You and those around us. May we follow in the footsteps of Jesus, who gave up His life so that we may have eternal life with You. Fill us with humility as we strive to obey Your commands and put aside our own desires. Enable us to lay down our lives for those around us, showing the same kind of love that Jesus showed on the cross. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏🏾

  • Episode 1402 - Jarvis Kingston In His final hours, Jesus prayed not just for His disciples, but for unity and protection for all believers !
    Jul 13 2025
Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 John 17:9 & 11 THE HIGH PRIESTLY PRAYER 1 These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: 2 As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. 3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. 4 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. 5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. 6 I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word. 7 Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee. 8 For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me. 9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. 10 And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them. 11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are. 12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled. 13 And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves. 14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. 16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. 18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. 19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. 20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; 21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. 22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: 23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. 24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world. 25 O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me. 26 And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them. DEVOTION Based on John 17 In His final hours, Jesus prayed not just for His disciples, but for unity and protection for all believers. He entrusted us into the Father’s care and desired that we be united like the Trinity. This prayer reveals Jesus’ deep love and commitment to our spiritual well-being. He intercedes even now. Division and fear may surround us, but we are kept by the name of the Holy Father—secure, loved, and called to unity. When we love one another, we fulfill Christ’s prayer. Unity is not sameness, but Spirit-led harmony that testifies to God’s presence among us. A.C.T.S. REFLECTION ADORATION: Jesus, You are our eternal Intercessor. You prayed for us, and You still stand in the gap today. CONFESSION: I confess I’ve let pride or offense create distance in relationships where You call for unity. THANKSGIVING: Thank You for praying for me, for protecting me through the Father’s name. Thank You for loving enough to cover me in prayer before the cross. SUPPLICATION: Lord, help me to walk in unity with others in the Body of Christ. Make me quick to forgive, eager to reconcile, and committed to peace. Let my relationships reflect Your love and draw others to Your truth. Keep me in Your name, just as You prayed, and help me live out that calling with humility and grace. PRAYER “I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.” JOHN 17:9 & 11 Dear Lord Jesus, You are a God of unity. While the rest of the world reels in division, we pray ...

Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Proverbs 27:6

Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.
    PROVERBS 27:6

    DEVOTION
    Based on Proverbs 27
True friendship isn’t just kindness—it’s truth in love. A faithful friend won’t flatter you into complacency but will speak what’s needed, even when it hurts. These “wounds” are not to injure, but to refine. Honest correction, given in love, protects us from paths that could lead to harm.

It’s far better to be challenged by someone who loves you than praised by someone who doesn’t. God places trustworthy people in our lives to sharpen us. When someone speaks truth with love, listen. And be the kind of friend who speaks truth with grace.
    A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
ADORATION: Lord, You are truth and love, perfectly balanced. You correct and guide in righteousness.

CONFESSION: I sometimes resist correction and value comfort over growth.

THANKSGIVING: Thank You for friends who have loved me enough to speak the truth. Thank You for refining me through honest conversations that shaped my walk with You.

SUPPLICATION: God, help me accept truth with humility and offer it gracefully. Let me be courageous in love and discerning in speech. Build in me relationships rooted in reality and kindness. Let all correction be seasoned with compassion, and may my heart remain teachable before You and others.

    PRAYER
“Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.”
    PROVERBS 27:6
Dear Lord, We thank You for the gift of friendship. We are grateful that in all our relationships we can come to You for guidance. We ask that You help us to be humble and open to the advice of our friends who love us enough to rebuke us when needed. Help us, Dear Lord, to be wise in the advice we listen to and accept it. We pray that You keep us from giving in to flattery from those with hidden motives and ill-intent. Let us not be naive but rather remember Your words of wisdom. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏🏾

Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Job 2:13

“So they sat down with him upon the ground seven days and seven nights, and none spake a word unto him: for they saw that his grief was very great.”
    JOB 2:13

    DEVOTION
    Based on Job 2
Sometimes the deepest comfort we can offer isn’t found in words, but in presence. Job’s friends sat silently with him for seven days, acknowledging his suffering simply by being there. This verse reminds us of the sacred ministry of presence. When someone is hurting, it’s not our explanations that help most—it’s our compassion, stillness, and willingness to share the space of sorrow.

God is present in silence, too. When you don’t know what to say, show up anyway. Your quiet presence may be the loudest expression of love and support someone receives.
    A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
ADORATION: God, You are near to the brokenhearted. You sit with us in silence and sorrow.

CONFESSION: I’ve rushed to speak when others simply needed me to listen or be present.

THANKSGIVING: Thank You for being a God who never leaves us alone in our pain. Thank You for sending people to walk with me in difficult seasons, even when no words were spoken.

SUPPLICATION: Lord, help me to be present in others' grief. Teach me to be still, to listen, and to carry pain without trying to fix it. Let me reflect Your comfort in quiet companionship. May I not fear silence but recognize it as holy when filled with love.

    PRAYER
“So they sat down with him upon the ground seven days and seven nights, and none spake a word unto him: for they saw that his grief was very great.”
    JOB 2:13
Dear Lord, We know that sorrow is inevitable in this life. Trials come and tragedy strikes, leaving us at a loss for words. It’s times like these when friendship is crucial. We pray that You would empower us to be tender-hearted to our friends who face tragedy. Give us wisdom to know when to speak, when to be silent, and when to reach out. Help us to be selfless during those times, and not look to please ourselves with vein advice and ill-timed platitudes. We want to be near as You are near, comforting as You are comforting, and wise as You are wise. Guide us in all these things. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏🏾

Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Luke 5:19

And when they could not find by what way they might bring him in because of the multitude, they went upon the housetop, and let him down through the tiling with his couch into the midst before Jesus.
    LUKE 5:19

    DEVOTION
    Based on Luke 5
This scene shows radical friendship and unshakable faith. The paralyzed man couldn’t get to Jesus on his own, but his friends were relentless. They tore through a roof to place him before the Healer. That kind of determination and love moved Jesus deeply. It’s a picture of intercession—lifting others when they can’t move forward independently.

We’re called to carry one another in faith, prayer, and action. Sometimes, your faith will be what brings someone else to a breakthrough. Be the kind of friend who lifts, persists, and believes in others, especially when they can’t do it alone.
    A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
ADORATION: Jesus, You honor bold faith and the compassion that brings others to You.

CONFESSION: I haven’t always gone the extra mile to help others encounter You.

THANKSGIVING: Thank You for the people who have carried me in prayer and stood by me when I felt weak. Thank You for showing us what true love in action looks like.

SUPPLICATION: Lord, give me eyes to see who needs to be carried closer to You. Make me a faithful friend and intercessor. Let my faith not only impact my life but lift others, too. May my actions reflect the love that makes a way where there seems to be none.

    PRAYER
And when they could not find by what way they might bring him in because of the multitude, they went upon the housetop, and let him down through the tiling with his couch into the midst before Jesus.
    LUKE 5:19
Dear Lord, You went to great lengths to free me from sin and shame. You exemplified what it means to be a true friend by laying down Your convenience for the sake of my comfort. I pray that I would do the same. Every day, I know there are opportunities to show Your love and sacrifice. Give me vision and clarity to see those opportunities. Give me the conviction to act. I want to be a good friend who stops at nothing to bring my friends to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏🏾

Your Nightly Prayer 🙏🏾 Proverbs 17:17

A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.”
    PROVERBS 17:17

    DEVOTION
    Based on Proverbs 17
This verse highlights the constancy of real love. A true friend isn’t just present when life is easy—they remain when things get hard. Adversity often reveals the depth of relationships. God created us to be relational beings, and in hardship, He often ministers to us through others. A brother or sister in faith stands firm in times of trial, bearing burdens, offering encouragement, and sharing tears.

Don’t underestimate the power of showing up for someone. And when you’re struggling, let others in. God’s love flows through friendship, and He often sends His comfort through the people around us.
    A.C.T.S. REFLECTION
ADORATION: Lord, You are faithful in every season, loving me constantly and surrounding me with care.

CONFESSION: I’ve taken some relationships for granted or withdrawn when things got difficult.

THANKSGIVING: Thank You for friends and family who have stood by me during hard times. Thank You for using them as vessels of Your compassion and strength.

SUPPLICATION: Father, help me to love others the way You love me—steadfastly, patiently, and unconditionally. Please give me the courage to support those in adversity, even when it’s inconvenient. Build in me the kind of love that endures and lifts others toward hope.

    PRAYER
“A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.”
    PROVERBS 17:17
Dear Lord, You have put us on this earth to love and help one other. We are all part of Your family and we must look out for each other in times of need. Grant us the strength that we may be a community and support each other through thick and thin. Help us to understand the value of friendship, that we may be there for someone when they are struggling. For it is in the tough moments where real connection and growth can take place. Give us the courage to reach out and offer a helping hand or a listening ear so that we may truly understand Your love in our lives. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏🏾
