 The universe wants you to play again! Yet often on our recovery journey, past narratives and trauma wounds still get in the way, keeping us stuck. The key is building awareness of how trauma manifests in the body, having a safe space within ourselves to sit with it, and building the capacity to harness its energy and direct it for our greater good. Sound impossible? It's not! R.G. Shore is proof. For nearly 3 years, Shore was incarcerated in a racially divisive and predominantly white prison in the Pacific Northwest. During that time, he learned to meditate as well as master techniques enabling him to sit with his trauma, process it, harness the energy trauma creates, and further transform it into new pathways for change. Today Shore, deeply devoted to his work, directs the non-profit, Northwest Wisdom, helping other released inmates create that safe space within themselves on their own healing journey. "The one thing you have to let go of is the one thing you think you were supposed to fulfill," R.G.Shore explains, "Only in letting go do we allow energy in to manifest it."
