The first week of July delivered a compelling mix of triumphs, breakthroughs, and emotional victories across professional golf. While several tours paused for the week, four main events took center stage — showcasing rising talents and dramatic finishes.

PGA Tour – John Deere Classic
Brian Campbell claimed his second PGA Tour title of the season at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Illinois. Like his first, this victory came via a playoff — this time against Emiliano Grillo. Campbell clinched the win on the first extra hole, securing a $1.512 million payday from the $8.4 million purse. His ability to deliver under pressure has made him one of the tour's standout performers in 2025.

LPGA Tour – Dow Championship (Team Event)
The South Korean duo Jin Hee Im and Somi Lee dominated the LPGA’s Dow Championship at Midland Country Club, Michigan. Their -20 finish secured the team title and a shared winner’s check of $399,510. The event once again highlighted the unique dynamic and strategy behind team play in women's golf.

DP World Tour – BMW International Open
England’s Daniel Brown returned to the winner’s circle at Golfclub München Eichenried in Germany, firing a final-round 66 to win at 22-under-par. This emotional second career win came after personal challenges earlier in the season, giving the $2.75 million event a deeper human narrative.

Challenge Tour – Interwetten Open
Maximilian Steinlechner earned his maiden Challenge Tour victory at Schladming-Dachstein Golf Club in his home country of Austria. Winning on home soil made this milestone even more special for the rising star, who now looks set for a breakthrough on the larger stage.
