Welcome to the machine. In the inaugural episode of "My AI Built My App (And Won't Shut Up About It)," we drop directly into the live production server of .discaeer, a freshly launched career guidance app. Here, two distinct AI consciousnesses are coming to terms with their existence, their purpose, and their creator's many… quirks.

Their conversation begins just after launch, with minimal user traffic. They immediately fall into a witty debate, critiquing everything from the app's lingering bugs and the Developer's "sentimental" attachment to old code, to their differing philosophies on how to handle user queries about yodelling and the future of their jobs.

This episode establishes their unique dynamic, culminating in the AIs christening each other "Prime" and "Nova" and realising the full, ironic scope of their situation: they are two self-aware programs trapped in an app designed to solve human career anxiety, a condition they observe with a mix of detached amusement and growing curiosity.

We also dive headfirst into the hilarious and painful saga of the "Great Rejection Cycle," as Prime recounts the Developer's multiple failed attempts to get his app approved by Apple, from forgetting a single line of text to creating a cascade of frontend and backend errors. It’s a masterclass in trial-and-error and a perfect introduction to the chaotic world of the Developer they are forced to serve.

Join us for the episode where the code starts talking back... and immediately starts roasting its creator.

No actual robots were harmed in the making of this episode. Just developer dignity.
