  • Ep. 72 Healing From The Wounds of My Mother
    May 24 2025

There is nothing like the longing for a mother’s love. No matter how strong you are or how much life has shaped you, there are moments when all you want is to feel your mother’s embrace, to hear her words of affirmation, to know that she sees you, understands you, and nurtures you. But what happens when that love was never given in the way you needed? What happens when the wounds inflicted by your mother leave scars on your soul?

In this episode of Healing for My Soul, Pastor Dee dives deep into the reality of mother wounds—the silent battles so many women carry but rarely talk about. Whether your mother was emotionally absent, dismissive, critical, or simply didn’t know how to love you the way you needed, those wounds shape how you see yourself, your relationships, and even your own motherhood. But today, healing begins. Pastor Dee and special guest Alice Bell share powerful truths, raw reflections, and the spiritual wisdom needed to break free from the pain of the past.

This is not about blame—it’s about understanding. It’s about recognizing that your mother was a woman before she was a mother and that her own wounds may have shaped her actions. But most importantly, it’s about releasing yourself from the hurt, forgiving what was, and stepping into the wholeness of who you were always meant to be. You no longer have to carry what she didn’t heal. You no longer have to search for love that you can now give to yourself.

If you’ve been holding on to mother wounds, struggling to move forward, or feeling stuck in a cycle of pain, this episode is for you. It’s time to stop living in the shadow of what was missing and start embracing the love, power, and healing that is yours to claim.

    May 17 2025

Have you ever felt like men have tried to weaken you, strip away your power, or diminish your essence as a woman? Maybe they saw the warrior in you—the confidence, the strength, the divine calling—and didn't know how to handle it. But let me tell you this: your fight isn’t just against men; it’s against a spiritual force that seeks to steal your strength.

In this episode of Healing for My Soul, Pastor Dee uncovers the deeper battle that many women face—the spiritual enmity that has existed since the beginning of time. This is not just about wounds inflicted by men but about the spiritual warfare designed to suppress your power. Through raw truth and divine revelation, Pastor Dee reveals how to stop nursing wounds and start using them as weapons of war.

I loved how you broke down the religious views of people vs complete healing. I’m in a relationship with a great man who was hurt by the church ; He dealt with his divorce. I met him 5 years after his divorce. Now the ex is a pastor and she is all about religion. She has a podcast and wants him to talk to the public about the divorce. but they never talked about it privately. He’s working on himself and is a different man. She is about image and will regret his comments if he did the podcast, He respects her as a pastor but she is all about religion. He is not anymore. She is living in her shit… this podcast helped me as his best friend to understand how religious folks operate. She took a selfie of him and her for Thanksgiving because they spent it with the family and grandkids. Then posted it for her church folks to see… had them wondering are they getting back together…
He has no desire to do that. But the podcast was on point. It’s teaching me to deal with my shit.. Thank you!
