After a wealthy woman named Lydia is converted (v. 14-15), Paul heals a demon-possessed slave girl (v. 16-18), resulting in his being thrown into prison (v. 19-24). An earthquake frees the prisoners, who convert a Philippian jailer and then baptize his household before being freed (v. 25-40).
